Unfortunately we cannot provisionally book, hold dates or times. We receive enquiries on a daily basis so we strongly advise you to follow the booking process to ensure you do not miss out on securing your special day with us.

We cover locations within Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and London. For bookings which are located over 15 miles from the performer’s location, travel charges apply (45 pence per mile).

Each performer can manage a maximum of 25 children in a party setting where they are providing one of our full entertainment packages. If your numbers go beyond this, capacity you will need to add a second character or assistant to your booking to ensure we are meeting our strict insurance and health and safety responsibilities.

For meet and greet appearance bookings, numbers can be increased up to a maximum of 75 guests per performer. Please contact us for further details.

Yes we can accommodate joint parties.To enable us to provide all your booked package elements (crowns/medals, gifts and certificates) there is a additional £10 charge per extra birthday child.

Please Note: If your booking is for more than two birthday children, depending on how many performers you have attending, we cannot guarantee that each child will receive the same amount of one to one time with the character.

We always do our very best to ensure their time to split as fairly as possible, however this can be challenging depending on the number of children attending your party or event.

If you make a request for a specific performer, we will do our very best to accommodate your request, however we cannot guarantee they will be available as this is dependent on any other bookings or commitments we have confirmed. Boogie Magic Parties proudly supports BAME and Transcendent Casting and equal opportunities. All our performers are incredibly talented and undertake thorough training to ensure there is seamless consistency when performing at parties and events.

Please check character availability when booking. We will do our best to accommodate requirements if your chosen character is available and suitable for the booked performer.

If we have availability to accommodate a character change, this can be organised with a minimum of two weeks’ notice.

We do not provide any of the above but can offer advice and recommendations on small businesses who can provide these services.

Yes, as long as you give us a minimum of two weeks’ notice to allow our performers to prepare.

When booking via our website (princess packages only) a list of song choices which we offer will be listed. We ask that you make your choice with a minimum of two weeks prior to your event.

If you are looking for a song which is not on our live song list (princesses only),  let us know and we can work with you to try and accommodate either live or via our party playlist (if applicable).

Yes, depending on your package. Whether you have booked a Princess, Superhero or Character package, there is plenty of variation or activities to keep everyone engaged.

For 90 minute and 2 hour packages, your performer will require approximately 15 minutes set up time before their official arrival. Your booking can start at the time you specify, however to avoid spoiling the magic, we recommend starting your booking with us at the beginning of the party allowing the character to meet and greet your guests.

However if this does not fit in with your requirements, set up can take place during the party but may take longer if children are interacting with the performer.

Depending on the length of the package booked, we offer a variety of party games which are themed around your chosen character. Please speak to us for further details.

Yes, for our 60/90 minute and 2 hour party packages, we require 15 minutes set up and pack down time before the start and end of your booking with us.

So if your booking were to start at 2.00pm, we will arrive at 1.45pm and with a 3.30pm finish, after saying our goodbyes, to everyone we will pack down at the end of the booking, leaving no later than 3.45pm.

We provide small sweet prizes for many of the games included in our packages. For specific games, there is also a small winner’s prize. Please speak to us for further details.

Sweet prizes provided are Small bags and individual sweets. Please be aware that we cannot accommodate any allergies with the prizes we offer. If this is relevant to any children attending your booking we recommend that you provide your own prizes to avoid any allergic reactions which we cannot be held responsible for.

If you would like the party child to win the party games, we will ensure the performer is informed (please advise us).

If you have booked entertainment for the full duration of your party (2 hours) we would highly recommend that you include a short food break to allow children the opportunity to refocus, eat and drink.

Yes, we take a 50% deposit to secure your party or event.We will send you a reminder the week before your booking to request the remaining balance.  If you would prefer to pay the full balance upon booking this is also fine.

We provide an up to date playlist of popular children’s pop music which will be played whilst your character is managing tattoos
(Princesses only), photos, talking to the children. There will also be the use of a disco light ball and bubbles (if suitable for your
venue and included within the purchased package 90/120 mins only). Please note: This is not a organised DJ session.

We provide our own sound system, music, disco lights and disco playlist for your chosen package. Please be aware that once the booking time ends, if your party or event is due to continue, you will need to organise alternative equipment and music for when we leave.

To make the most of your booked time, we recommend that tattoos take place whilst food is being served (tattoos can take up to two minutes per child). We will happily accommodate timings that differ, however please be aware that depending on the number of children requiring tattoos, this may impact us being able to deliver other elements of your chosen package. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We strongly recommend that if you have hired a bouncy castle, this is turned off while our performers are either talking or performing. Bouncy castles are very noisy and make it difficult for performers to be heard which can spoil the magic of the performance.
Our advice is to run your bouncy castle before we arrive, turn if off while we perform and then inflate once we are either doing glitter tattoos or running the disco to ensure you get the best value for your booking.

We do not offer face painting, however we have an amazing Glitter Bar which offers biodegradable face glitters and hand-made, sparkly themed face gem designs which are a great addition to any party package, taking half the time of a full face paint.

Absolutely, feel free to speak to us if you would like to swap specific elements of your package and (time dependent) we will do our very best to accommodate.

Our characters will officially crown the birthday child an official princess with a beautiful crown and certificate for them to treasure forever.

Our character will gather all the children into a circle giving them a small amount of magical glitter which, after making their wish, they will blow into the circle.

Superhero packages include superhero training themed around the games offered (depending on the length of your package). Characters will officially celebrate the birthday child making them an official superhero with a medal and certificate for them to treasure forever.

Yes, you can add a character, mascot, an assistant or our Glitter Bar. Charges apply.

Yes, once final payment has been taken for your booking (the week before your party or event), your party timeline will be sent via email for you to review.

To allow us time to prepare we politely ask that any requested changes be made no later that the Monday of the party week.

Yes we have full liability insurance.

As a small business, this is not a legal requirement but we do test our equipment when necessary.

If you have to cancel your party due to the birthday child being unwell, we will do our best to work with you to reschedule.

Please note:  Deposit payments are “non refundable”.

In the unlikely event your booked performer is unwell and unable to attend, we will do everything possible to avoid cancelling your booking. Options available are listed below:

We will look to source another character or entertainment/performer who can adjust the planned party/event timeline to enable the service to be delivered.

We can look to reschedule your party or event and offer a free character video message as compensation.

We can offer a full refund if the above two options are not suitable.

It is essential that our performers have good access and parking to your party/event. Whilst in character, they also have to carry equipment for set up which can be challenging and heavy. If your venue is upstairs, in a busy location, has coded or challenging access, we will need assistance to navigate and carry equipment to avoid hazards, injuries and delays in setting up prior to your booking time. Please provide details when securing your party or event with us.

Yes, please ensure there is a table near to a power source available for us to organise all our electrical equipment, prizes for games and other elements.

If your package includes glitter tattoos, we will also require a second table with chairs for our performers to use when providing this service.

During summer/dry months, as long as the venue is suitable and our performers have an adequate shaded/covered area with a safe power supply, packages can be delivered outside. We cannot work outside if the weather conditions are not suitable. This includes (but is not limited to) rain, snow and storms.

Important Note: Extreme weather conditions can affect some of the services we provide including glitter tattoos, bubbles and our snow machine (heat, wind, snow and rain can affect our performers being able to apply glitter due to the impact on the glue). Both bubble and snow machines will also be affected if there is strong wind or rain the day of your party/event).
